Students in the Contemporary Jazz Studies program at Lincoln College contextualize jazz composition and performance alongside elements of film, dance, narrative, and electronic music. With video excerpts from recent performances, I discuss how I collaborate with students in this program to extend their work in jazz beyond the traditional concert paradigm.
