Her passion for entertainment began young. Musical theatre, choir, and drama class were amongst her favorite things. Courtney knew from a young age, Los Angeles was her destination. She started traveling to Los Angeles over the summer and worked at the Greek Theatre and the Shrine Auditorium. This turned from just summers to spending whole music seasons at the Greek. At the Greek, she assisted in directing many shows from James Taylor, to Robert Plant, to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. At the Shrine Auditorium, Courtney worked and attended the SAG Awards, BET Awards, and Stand-Up for Cancer. She’s also had the opportunity to work with the famous, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends, Crosby, Stills and Nash. She has grown up in and around entertainment and music.
Writing songs started at a young age and has manifested into Courtney's first EP, 'GOLD.' It was produced by Aaron Andersen (One Republic, Zella Day, Lupe Fiasco). Courtney describes it as country crass meets rock n' roll sass. It's available for purchase on iTunes and listening on Spotify and SoundCloud.
Courtney Hart is currently studying acting under her coach and mentor, Troy Rowland (Shia LaBeouf, Hilary Duff, Angelica Houston). Courtney has a recoccuring role on 'The Young and the Restless.’ She has had the opportunity to be on ‘The Ellen Show’ and work with Ellen’s writer, Amy Rhodes and work on set of ‘Get Him to the Greek.’
In D.C. Comic’s, ‘The Green Lantern,’ Courtney was used as a model for the character, Arisia. Artist, Mike Mayhew, had Courtney come into his studio and portray and act out every emotion Arisia was going through in the comic. He then took Courtney’s interpretation of Arisia and brought it to life in the pages of the comic book. Courtney has a spread in ‘Bay Magazine’ and was shot for Harmony Korine’s ‘Spring Breakers’ promotional shoot. Her most recent photoshoot was with photographer Josh Del, who is prominent in music and has work featured in Italian Vogue.
In her spare time, Courtney likes to read, hike, workout, try new coffee places, visit the beach, and volunteer.
