Going beyond the prerequisites of expert pedagogy and repertoire knowledge, this session will explore many other crucial aspects of developing a successful private music studio, including marketing, budgeting, and accounting; tax laws and zoning; policies and contracts; personnel procedures; and web-site development and media skills.
