The neo-soul artist from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, currently residing in Covina, Ca Janice Freeman is the voice the nations have yet to hear. The soulfulness and round sounds of her vocal range are memorable, as is proven with her current trek on the 13th season of The Voice. Janice initially moved from Pennsylvania to L.A. in 1999, where she studied music and computer information systems. While studying, she traveled internationally with the singing group M.I.G., and finished Top 6 in the U.S. for Kirk Franklin’s Sunday’s Best show. In 2013, Janice made a full-time commitment to do what she felt she was put on the planet to do – change people’s lives with her story and her song. As a singer and songwriter, Janice has been accepted into the globally renowned songwriters’ association, SESAC. Her new single “You” was released on Feb. 6, 2017, and a number of her songs are currently online at Apple iTunes and SoundCloud.
