Award winning singer-songwriter and guitarist, Steph Johnson is a rare panoramic talent that catches your attention upon the first note. Her voice is soulful and unique, rich with texture as is her songwriting. She has released 4 CDs, her most recent recording "Music is Art" was produced by two time Grammy Award winning producer, Kamau Kenyatta (Gregory Porter/Best Jazz Vocal 2014 + 2016).

In the summer of 2016, Steph co-founded “Voices Of Our City”, a choir created for people experiencing homelessness in San Diego. As an activist, she found it difficult to bring about change in regards to the city’s inhumane policies towards unsheltered people. She felt called to create community centered around singing, music and friendship that could be a safe haven from the heavy criminalization a homeless person faces every day. The choir provides the voiceless with a voice and showcases the powerful human potential and talent of each individual.
