Updates
"The Education Quality Report” ranked New Mexico 49th in the nation. Education and communication with state representatives is underway.
In May, NAMM Member, Cindy Cook met with several Representatives including: Congressman Ben Ray Luján, Senator Tom Udall and the Legislative Correspondent for Senator Martin Heinrich. Future plans include contacting the Governor to discuss improving music education and making it a priority.
