Alex Ordonez
Alex Ordonez was eight years old when he began playing the piano. He was the first in his family to play music and was encouraged by his parents. Although he later focused his time on sports, Alex somehow knew his love of music would be part of his future. It was after serving in the United States military that Alex returned to college where a class field trip brought him to Alfred Music Publishing. At the time Alfred had just acquired Warner Brothers Publishing and needed all hands on deck for data entry and cataloging. Alex quickly started as a part-time data entry clerk and soon his manager saw his unique dedication. Since Alex’s beginning in 2005 with Alfred, his career has grown and developed as he now serves as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Alex also fondly remembers the special relationship with the late Morty Manus who served as a mentor and friend.
