Andrew Surmani

Andrew Surmani was always interested in both music and business.  His parents owned their own business and even in high school while in the band, Andrew took care of the books for the band.  A friend later told him about an opening at Alfred Music in Van Nuys, California. One of his first jobs was in marketing, and clients and convention coordinator, which provided the insight to Andrew that this was the business for him, bringing both of his passions together.  He fondly looks back at his early days at Alfred when the entire marketing department had one computer that they all had to share.  He took great pride in being part of the company as it grew and developed over the years almost as much as the people he has worked with that he calls family members.
