Becki Barabas has a real heart for helping others, so it should come as no surprise that each of her professional job descriptions throughout her career have always been expanded as soon as she detected an area of need. This spirit extends into her personal life as Becki has been a volunteer for several charities, including helping children with special needs learn to surf. Becki was on the team at Harman in 2012 that formed a volunteer group in which the company supports its employees to work together once a month to assist a local charity. Starting at Score 1 Recording Studio, Becki has enjoyed her roles within in the music business, which also included stints at Nadine’s Music in Hollywood, New West Audio, Marcus Audio and in 2008 she was hired to support Soundcraft, AKG and JBL brands at Harman in Northridge, California. A small group of employees, including Becki, serve on a committee to look for ways of improving policies within the company, such as providing flexible schedules for employees who are caregivers for others. This group, known as Harman Women’s Network, is yet another example of Becki’s giving spirit.
