Bob Lynch
Bob Lynch is a pioneering independent representative in the era when many manufacturers were slowly phasing out the inside rep. Bob began playing trumpet at an early age and even provided music lessons at Wallace Music while still in high school. Bob played in several concert and dance bands including in the pit band for his hometown’s annual talent show. He worked for the New Jersey Educational Company before switching over to the suppliers’ side when he was hired by the Selmer Company. He went on the road for the Selmer Company to call on many of the music stores in the Ohio and Pennsylvania area. Bob also worked for the Chicago Music Instruments (CMI) before establishing his own rep company and gathered a list of lines that he served to many of the music store owners he had become friends with over the years.
