Carole Ozanian

Carole Ozanian has been surrounded by music her entire life. As a four-year-old child she took piano lessons and played up to her college years, when she studied to be a choir director. After college she was hired to work for a Southern California music store and found she had a real flair and interest in selling (a skill she attributes to her years as a Girl Scout selling cookies). She was very active with the store’s marketing, attended piano conventions and soon met several music publishers who liked her approach to music education and the way she fostered relationships with piano teachers. She worked for Alfred Publishing for several years and became the first female traveling sales rep for a music publisher. In more recent years she has owned several music stores in California and has been a consultant to several companies seeking to expand their export businesses.
