Charlotte Jansky

Charlotte Jansky and her husband Joe set off to fulfill his long time dream, owning a music store. They opened Allegro Music in Fremont, California, in 1960 much to the delight of Joe who proclaimed his dream was realized. Tragically, Joe suddenly passed away just a few years later. Charlotte at first thought about selling the store, as managing it and raising the couple’s children would have been too much. However, she decided that keeping the store and running it would be her way of keeping Joe’s legacy alive. She has done just that! With 50 years in the music business even under stressful and heartbreaking times, Charlotte Jansky has been a musical success!
