Chris Wright

Chris Wright recalls hearing the drummer play in the famous British instrumental band, The Shadows. From that moment on all he wanted was a drum kit. His dear dad brought home a used drum for him one day and as they say, his life was never the same! Chris loved playing drums and also helping his fellow drummer friends find the right gear, which is why he and his wife Brooke opened up DrumWright in 1996. While running the company store, Chris dedicated some of his time to helping the Music Industries Association, serving as Finance Director for twelve years.  He was also actively involved in the formation of the Association’s linked charity Music for All and organized a major fund-raising event – Rock of Ages  - in 2008, for which he received a NAMM award
