Dave Bray
Dave Bray began working in the music industry when he joined the Billy Hyde team in the 1970s. Hyde had a strong drum shop at the time and was just expanding into wholesaling, thanks in large part to Billy's son, Garry. Dave helped in the early days of the wholesale division of Billy Hyde’s, which was later named Music Link. Dave also worked for the Electric Factory selling speaker boxes before working for Zenith Music in Melbourne. The store was formed in the late 1960s and like Billy Hyde's Music, had a wholesale division for which Dave worked to develop over the years. Among the products Dave helped expand into the Australian market was Guild Guitars.
