Dave Cortez

Dave "Baby" Cortez recorded an instrumental hit playing the Hammond B-3 entitled "The Happy Organ." He followed that with another top ten hit "The Whispering Organ" and continued to play as a studio musician for countless recordings such as the organ behind "Maybe" and "The Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini." Dave was out of the industry for several years until 2011 when he recorded a new album that included all new songs he wrote and played in a jazz style.
