Dennis Hallmeyer

Dennis Hallmeyer has fond memories of his years playing mallet percussion in the school’s marching band, eventually progressing to the xylophone. Beginning in the 7thgrade Dennis took a keen interest in computers and even developed websites for local businesses in his small hometown. After his training in recording technology in Monterey, California, he worked at a local studio and engineered several small live events. Having moved to San Diego, Dennis joined the Bertrand’s Music team in 2012. He began assisting during the school rental return season at the end of the school year and later cut his teeth during the back-to-school season that fall. It was clear to him that he wanted to stay with the team where he developed strong friendships. The company was expanding and opening up new locations at the time he was promoted to Store Manager for the San Diego location. He later oversaw four locations before switching gears to become the Director of Sales & Marketing, which he enjoys very much.
