Desmond Child

Desmond Child is the songwriter behind such hit collaborations as "Livin' On a Prayer" with Bon Jovi, "Dude Looks Like a Lady" with Aerosmith, and "Livin’ La Vida Loca" for Ricky Martin. Desmond started as a recording artist with his band Desmond Child & Rouge on Capitol Records in the late 1970's co-writing "I Was Made For Lovin' You" with Paul Stanley for KISS. He later became an active board member of ASCAP and the Songwriters Hall of Fame where he was inducted in 2008. His devotion to honor those who paved the way before him led Desmond to his role as Chairman/CEO and Co-Founder of the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame.
