DJ Arabian Prince
DJ Arabian Prince had to get creative with his overprotective mother. He figured out that by utilizing his new interest in DJing he could be the first at a party and the last to leave while his mother would drive him around and be able to keep an eye on him. As he DJ’d at dances and skating rinks around Compton, he developed a reputation for being the “tech dude” working with new drum machines and synths, and because of this he worked with various groups in the LA area. Two of his proudest moments in his career have been working on J.J. Fad’s album Supersonic in 1988 as well as being a founding member of the group N.W.A.
