Don Ransom

Don Ransom is the Vice President of United Wire Technology, located in upstate New York.  While the company was formed in 1938, it wasn’t until Don and his father, Jim; decided to expand their product line did the company become involved with musical instrument companies for customers.  Their variety of wires are used for a number of musical strings produced by several companies around the world.  In 2012 the company’s main factory burned, leaving Don to head the effort to re-build and stay in business during those months of reconstruction.  As a result of their efforts the company continued to serve their customers.
