Doug Moody
Doug Moody was a long time record producer who was not afraid to embrace new music and groups. As a result he helped usher in the teenage girl groups of the 1960s with hits such as “My Boy Friend’s Back” for the Angels. Some years later, he introduced millions of people to punk and skateboard music by recording hundreds of unknown groups that otherwise may never have recorded. Several of the bands went on to great fame. Doug was a producer who had no boundaries and as a result he exposed willing listeners to unique styles of music that he discovered in clubs and at music festivals around the world.
