Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser
Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser was presented the highest honor from the American Music Conference (AMC) when he was given the Henry Grossman Lifetime Achievement Award. The award honors those dedicated to music education and advocacy, which is practically Tim’s middle name. Over the years as a band director and educator, he has been asked to provide clinics to assist teachers and administrators with the role of increasing the ranks of music makers. He was also an early supporter of recreational music making and was a promoter of many of the advocacy materials created by NAMM, AMC, and others.
