Eric Satterlee

Eric Satterlee founded Meridian Winds in 1984, in Lansing, Michigan.  The store specializes in wind instruments and has a very innovative repair shop.  In fact, the repair shop is the birthplace of several of Eric’s ideas in tooling enhancement, including a series of products he sells under the name of Magnetic Dent Removal System.  The system has been sold to music stores and instrument repair shops around the world because it can remove dents in many cases without disassembling the entire instrument.  Eric is also very active as a strong supporter of NAPBIRT and can often times be found in his booth at the annual meetings demonstrating the use of the magnetic system.
