Françoise Dahod

Françoise Dahod was born and raised in France, and remembers classical music often being played around the house. In her 20s, she came to the United States and was first introduced to new types of music. Her daughter played the clarinet, piano, and sang, which showed Françoise how important music was to education. When she found out about the NAMM Foundation’s Museum of Making Music, she signed up to be a volunteer in hopes to provide music to more children. Françoise also earned the Volunteer of the Year award in 2013 for her contribution for the museum.
