Frank Charles

Frank Charles is perhaps best known for playing the organ during most hockey, baseball, and basketball games during the 1980s in Milwaukee. His riffs for the Brewers influenced many other organists in baseball with familiar musical phases such as "CHARGE" and polkas during the seventh inning stretch. Frank said even the traditional "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" sing-a-long was gradual in its popularity, which he is proud to take some ownership in. "When I first played it in the middle of the seventh inning, only a few people clapped along. However, over time it became a must for every baseball game!"
