Frantisek Nemecek
Frantisek Nemecek was born and raised in Czechoslovakia where he studied advertising and helped the more than 70 instrument makers in the area to sell their products. Frantisek began by exporting a large number of the instruments outside the area and into the Soviet Union, where the demand for hand crafted instruments was great. By 1964 he expanded once again to export instruments into the United States and England. He later became the managing director of the Czech Musical Instrument Association to continue to assist with the exporting of locally-made instruments around the world.
