Frédéric Brun grew up in Paris, France and has been playing the violin since age 6. He attended university studying chemical engineering, but always had music in his head and a desire to start his own company. These dreams became a reality when Frederic met Gilles Pommereuil, another student at the Grenoble Institute of Technology, and together they started Arturia with a goal of using technology to bring music to everyone. The first product they released, Storm, was a virtual studio with capabilities of being used anywhere by anyone to create music. Since then, Arturia has been hard at work at creating digital versions of famous analog synthesizers and have also started creating hardware products to use alongside their software.
