Gordon Kennedy
Gordon Kennedy is the songwriter behind such hits as Eric Clapton’s “Change the World” and Bonnie Raitt’s “Gypsy in Me.” As many may also know, Gordon is a sought after musician who has recorded and performed with Garth Brooks, Ricky Skaggs and Peter Frampton (to name but a few). His parents sang and recorded together beginning when they were teenagers (including a cover of “Short Shorts”) and his father, Jerry, went on to an incredible career in Nashville as a producer and studio musician working with everyone from Elvis Presley to Bob Dylan. To this day Gordon continues to gig and to write. His songs can be heard in such movies as Almost Famous, Tin Cup, For Love of the Game and Phenomenon!
