Horst Wittner

Horst Wittner’s grandfather, Gustav Wittner, formed a precision mechanical factory for the production of metronomes in 1895. His son, Rudolf, expanded the plant and helped set standards for the industry such as design and speed features. Their most popular model was the Taktell. Besides metronomes Wittner manufactures other musical accessories (Tuning Forks, String Accessories, Stands etc.) as well as articles for storage and maintenance of Sound and Data media. In 1975, Horst took leadership within the company becoming the third generation to run the company.
