James Tsaptsinos
James Tsaptsinos recalls the Muppet themed drum kit his uncle purchased for him when he was just five years old. He was surrounded by music during his childhood and in high school formed bands with some of his friends. His passion for music led to a gig as technical manager touring with bands such as Shelter and No Doubt. While working for Guitar Center he was asked to help open and manage a branch in New Jersey. James rose to National Sales Manager in 2003 at Guitar Center before accepting a role as Director of Portable Keyboards at Casio. Throughout his career, he always sought to develop his knowledge and skills with a focus on continuing education, taking such classes as finance and accounting. He joined Samson for five years and in 2012 was hired at Fender as VP of Sales for their Kaman (KMC) division. A few years later James began his role at JAM Industries, which he points out is special to him based both on the team he gets to work with and their product line.
