Jay Wanamaker

Jay Wanamaker found his passion for music as a member of a drum and bugle corps and eventually honed his skills while attending the Crane school of music at SUNY Potsdam University in Potsdam, New York. After completing a graduate degree program at the University of Kansas, Jay took a job at Alfred Publishing where he learned every aspect of the business. In addition to this, Jay went on to not only teach at the University of Southern California, but also publish over 50 books, worked on multiple Super Bowl halftime shows, and some of his music was used in the movie Drumline. After spending 15 years with Yamaha, Jay transitioned to a 10-year job with Guitar Center, and is now the President & CEO of Roland US.
