Jim Gamble

Jim Gamble envisioned a console that would give an engineer ultimate control of the audio being mixed.  He started by working for one of the original sound reinforcement companies and helped write the book on the touring industry.  The experiences that he had working with some of the most revered  bands of all time, over decades, helped influence his consoles designs.  The number of bands are too numerous to mention but were many of the leading acts in each decade for the last fifty years.  Mr. Gamble designs and manufactures both house and monitor consoles. The innovative products he designed and created proved to be ideal for live mixing (he started by designing the now famous blue boards in the 1970s) and studio recordings as well.  His DCX series of boards includes the Cabaret, Showtime, Event 40 and Event 60, each proudly hand-made with the highest quality components.  The results of his dedication and blood, sweat and tears for nearly 50 years is the Gamble sound, something special and unique to his designs and engineering, which is based on his passion for music and the definitive analogy audio experience.
