Jimmy Nutt

Jimmy Nutt is the recording engineer in the Muscle Shoals area of Alabama who established The Nutt House Recording Studio.  Jimmy began his playing career as a teenager and he was always the member of the band who took care of the PA and sound for the gigs.  As he grew up and saw a need that fellow musicians had to record their music, he became more and more interested in recording engineering.  His early training as an engineer took place at Fame Studios with the founder, Rick Hall, by his side.  When Jimmy decided to open his own studio, he found a former bank just down the road in Sheffield.  If you are lucky, maybe you can record your vocals in the old vault!
