Jochen Keilwerth
Jochen Keilwerth’s grandfather founded the Julius Keilwerth Saxophones company in 1925 in Grasnitz. Once one of the largest saxophone producers in Europe, Keilwerth also produced trumpets and trombones, and gained a particular reputation for the Keilwerth SX90R saxophone that was introduced in 1989. After studying business administration, Jochen joined his brother, Gerhard, and sister, Christa, in running the company. The siblings sold the firm in 1989 to Bussey & Hawkes while Jochen became the sales manager for Switzerland. He kept working at Julius Keilwerth Saxophones until in 2010, Buffet Crampon acquired the brand and Jochen became CFO and vice president of Buffet Crampon Germany.
