John Blanch

John Blanch grew up learning all about solid customer service from his father, who owned a grocery store north of Sydney, Australia. Those lessons helped John during his career in the music industry, which began in retail and expanded into wholesaling. His fun stories about selling pianos in the early 70s in Australia were plentiful, including those surrounding the fact that if you sold a piano in those day, it was you who had to deliver it! John joined Kawai at an important era of innovation and expansion, which included supporting many music educational program. John also served on the board of the Australian Music Association, which at the time of his NAMM interview in 2017, was celebrating its 40th anniversary.
