John McLaren Sr.

John McLaren Sr. is the president of BBE Sound, which develops pro audio gear. The company purchased G&L Guitars and has been dedicated to keeping the spirit of the founders and their ideas and traditions evident in each guitar. G&L was originally formed by George Fullerton and Leo Fender and has become a successful guitar line around the world. John has served in many important leadership positions throughout his career including as Former President of CBS Musical Instruments and Senior Vice President of Yamaha Corporation of America.  More recently John has been a strong supporter of the NAMM Oral History program and the NAMM Foundation’s Museum of Making Music.
