Johnny Eberle

Johnny Eberle was passionate about sound recordings ever since he was a small child.  Developing a love of audio engineering and it’s rich history, John became an expert and a well known mastering engineer.  He worked for Nashville Record Productions for over 30 years before establishing his own mastering business in 2000 entitled Americana Mastering.  Johnny also became a leading expert on the career of Thomas Edison and took great personal joy in helping preserve the history of the industry.  In 2005, Johnny lent his support to the NAMM Oral History project and over the years helped arrange several key interviews including Bluegrass legend Sonny Osborne.  For his many contributions to the collection, including his own interview, Johnny was presented the 2016 NAMM Believe In Music Award.
