Josephine Nadolny
Josephine Nadolny only had one job, working for Selmer Band Instruments. When she retired in 2000 she had worked there for 58 years! Over that time she developed the first instrument parts catalog, which included drawings and specs for each and every part a repair shop might need. She later became a dealer service representative and happily reported that “I aim to try to please the dealers. You do that and they remember you. Over the years, I’ve gotten to know many people by telephone.” In 2005 the Elkhart Historical Society inducted Josephine into their Hall of Fame. Josephine was a dedicated employee to Selmer and she was very proud to have worked in the music industry.
