Joyce Porras

Joyce Porras was hired to work at Reynald’s Music Store for two weeks in 1946, to help with the Christmas holiday rush. She continued to work for the company until it was sold in the 1980s. In fact, she continued to work for Reynald’s even after it was sold because she and her husband are the people who bought the store! Within a few years, her son joined her at the store, where she continued to work each day. The store has a rich history in Pensacola, FL, where it opened in 1910. When Joyce was hired, the store was full line and carried 78 records. Over time she decided to focus on pianos and keyboards, returning to the roots of the store.
