Larry Larson

Larry Larson loved the accordion!  He played it most of his life, so when he had the idea to sell and teach the instrument, opening a store seemed like the right thing to do.  He opened the small store in Glendale, California in 1956 and worked hard to build the teaching and service departments of the store.  Group accordion classes were extremely successful in the 1950s and early 1960s and Larry worked hard to provide the classes for students even after the boom was over.  For over 60 years Larry was a cherished part of the music products industry, known as much for his bad jokes as for his infectious smile. He was awarded the Believe In Music award during the NAMM Show in January 2016 for his dedication to the music industry.  Larry passed away on St. Patrick's Day 2016.
