Margaret O'Loughlin
Margaret O'Loughlin was inducted into the Australian Music Association's Honor Roll in 2017 for her dedication to the music industry. After her husband, Peter, had taken ill and passed away in 1982, Margaret attended the NAMM Show to inform the head of Fender that she could take over her husband’s role as the wholesaler for Australia. Having been a school teacher until Peter became ill, Margaret had no training in the business but felt it was her way to keep her husband’s legacy alive. She expanded the business and later brought in her son, David. In 2016, Fender purchased the business and she retired, having proudly maintained her husband's legacy.
