Marilyn Brown

Marilyn Brown grew up in a home full of music, thanks in large part to her father’s career as a band director.  She was hired by the Yenny Music store for 25 years, which was in fact the store her father called on for many years.  After the store was sold she was hired by the Music Centers Inc. for ten years, serving as the sheet music buyer for all of their fourteen locations.  During that time she began attending RPMDA conventions and felt she benefited greatly from being part of the music community that she describes as a family.  She retired from the music industry to travel with her husband only to miss her customers so much that in 2013 she was talked into working a few mornings a week for Music & Arts.  Marilyn is also involved with promoting the innovative flash cards and other products of Berets Publications.
