Max Junger
Max Junger is the director of Pyramid Junger GmbH. He carries on the family tradition of string making in the 6th generation. Founded in 1850 as A. Osmanek Musikinstrumenten & Saitenfabrik, the company has its origins in Schönbach, which is today known as Luby, Czech Republic. After 1945, the property and factory were expropriated and Max’s grandfather prepared to re-establish the company in West Germany. Bubenreuth, the center of violin makers, was just the place for a successful new start. The early years after the war were challenging, but thanks to an extensive international clientele the company was able to thrive and produce a wide variety of strings and tuning pipes.
