Michael Brettler

Michael Brettler is the current president of Shapiro, Bernstein & Company, which has been in his family for four generations.  Michael’s interview was completed on the 100th anniversary of the famed music publisher’s beginnings in New York City.  Over the years, Shapiro, Bernstein & Company has represented some of the golden treasures in American music, as well as standards that are a part of our culture and history.  Michael is very proud to carry on the family tradition, while at the same time preparing the company to be successful in the ever-changing world of technology.
