Normalu Cooper
Normalu Cooper was inspired by her piano teachers as a young girl so she eventually began providing lessons in her father’s piano store when she was a teenager. Like her father, Normalu went on to have a long career in piano retail in Washington and, also like her father, she played the organ for local sports teams. In the 1990’s, her and her husband, Jack, purchased Davis & Hosch Music Company, which was sold upon their retirement and renamed Spokane’s Steinway Piano Gallery. Her long career and passion for the industry was a key factory in thousands of her students and customers making music of their own.
