Peggy Lamb

Peggy Lamb began working at the record division of the Acuff-Rose Company before transferring over to the publishing division in the early 1980s. She worked with Mr. Wesley Rose, the father of songwriter Fred Rose, who built up the catalog and reputation of the company to one of the most respected in the industry. The company was formed in 1947 on the strength of Fred’s songs and the popularity and success of Roy Acuff, often called the father of country music. The company was sold a few times after Wesley’s passing in the mid 1980s. In the early 2000s, Peggy established her own publishing company, called Heirloom Music.
