Percy Bady
Percy Bady grew up surrounded by gospel, thanks largely to the fact his father was a minister. Since he was six years old, Percy expressed his feelings through music, especially in church. Playing the piano and later organ and keyboards, Percy found another passion in writing music, which has been recorded and performed by a long list of choirs and artists. In 1999, he won a Dove Music Award and has also been nominated for a Stellar Award and a Grammy, the latter for his song “Still”. Percy pioneered the use of electronic keyboards and synthesizers within church and gospel music, which has been an inspiration for many musicians who have followed him.
