Robert Neu

Robert Neu grew up in the Cincinnati area and went to work for Baldwin Piano Company on August 2, 1946, right after World War II.  In fact, Bob started out as a time keeper to keep track of production. He recalls in the first few months of working there, military guards were at each entrance since the company was active in the war effort just months before Bob arriving there.  He worked in the industrial engineering department and worked in plant layout and processing, which he enjoyed.  Bob assisted on the factory move to Greenwood, Mississippi before he was laid off but rehired a few months later.  What followed was a busy decade of high production numbers.  He then spent the next 27 years as a regional credit manager for Baldwin before his retirement.
