Ron Raup was among the first commercial members to serve on the NAMM Board. His long career in the industry has been highlighted by his incredible vision and marketing skills for the MakeMusic company. MakeMusic, Inc. is a world leader in software and systems for music educators and musicians. Among their leading products are Finale®, one of the world's best-selling music notation software and SmartMusic®, a music practice system that features Intelligent Accompaniment® and a large interactive accompaniment library. Ron has been a long time supporter of music education and served as president of the American Music Conference in the 1980s.
