Ron Sadler
Ron Sadler’s great grandfather settled in Aurora, Illinois, outside of Chicago, to establish Sadler Piano. Over the next 123 years, the company has faced some unique times and made an impact on the music industry. During the Great Depression, Ron’s grandfather discontinued manufacturing pianos to focus on music retail, while his father expanded the band instrument repair shop in the back part of the store. Ron grew up following in his father’s footsteps. In fact, Ron was a charter member of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians (NAPBIRT) and later served as its president for a two‑year term.
