Sally Duane
Sally Duane was born the same year her brother started McMillan Music outside of Philadelphia. She is the epitome of “growing up” in the business and has early memories of filling bottles of the company’s valve oil and containers of cork grease for mouthpieces. She stayed on when the company moved from her parent’s basement to a factory building and witnessed the transition when her brother retired and her son, David, took over the business and through it all she continued to fulfill orders for valve oil bottles and cork grease containers. In fact, around the factory she is known as the Cork Grease Queen because no one has been doing it longer than Sally!
